A high school student in North Carolina wrote to tell me that he is doing his senior research paper on “the runner’s high and running addictions”. He said he read my book and would like to interview me for his paper. I’ve heard about this sort of thing before, but I never thought that someday a student would be looking to me as an authority and asking me for help. It’s sort of cute, isn’t it?
